Ms Nathwani is a Consultant in Oral Surgery and works across London and the South East of England.

She is a Consultant in Oral Surgery at Surrey and Sussex NHS Trust and Training Programme Director for Dental Core Training in Kent, Surrey and Sussex. She also examines for the License in Dental Surgery held by the Royal College of Surgeons. She is also a clinical advisor to the General Dental Council.

Her publications include commissioned and peer reviewed articles in the management of medically compromised patients and review of dental education, as well as recent involvement in the diversity and inclusion review with the Royal College of Surgeons and authoring a chapter in a BDA book. Ms Nathwani has been invited to present her research to the wider health community both nationally and internationally.

Treatments performed include:
– Dentoalveolar surgery under local anaesthesia +/- intravenous sedation
– Management of impacted and ectopic teeth including wisdom teeth and canines
– Orthodontic surgery including exposure and bonding procedures
– Management of hard/soft tissue lesions including biopsy and frenectomies
– Apical or root end surgery
