Veneers

These are very thin custom-made laminates that are fixed to your teeth. They are used to correct chipped, discoloured or damaged teeth. They can also be a minimally invasive way of improving minor rotations or gaps in your teeth.
They are minimally invasive and may require minimal drilling of your teeth. They can be made with ceramic or resin materials and matched to your teeth shape, size and colour.
If you are not happy with the current appearance of your teeth, your dentist could make soe moulds of your teeth and then change the appearance on them to give you a visual aid to see the final results. This can be then replicated in your veneers.
Veneers can also be used in conjunction with teeth whitening to help in improving your smile by giving you naturally white and beautiful teeth.
It normally takes about 4-6 weeks to complete the treatment and your dentist would normally use local anaesthetic during some appointments.
Veneers can usually last you around 10-15 years but this depends on how well you look after them.
